North Meets South in NC: Watch Us Grow - Month 9 (July 17, 2014)

Ava Nicole

You have been working so hard on crawling this month! You practiced so hard and finally took a few "scoots" when we were in Wilmington with Granny and PawPaw! We were so excited and so proud of you!!! You want to move so badly, but you do not get frustrated and you keep on trying!! You are 22 lbs 2.5 oz and you are 28.25 inches long! You have 2 bottom teeth and you are always chewing on or sucking on anything you can fit in your mouth, but you love your pacifier! We love to sit and cuddle with you and you give the sweetest hugs. Your smile is infectious and your eyes sparkle! We haven't made too much progress with hair yet, but you don't seem to mind. You love to go swimming and go on the swings. Your favorite foods are sweet potatoes, cheerios, squash, blueberries, peaches, and chicken. You love to read and sit in our laps. Mommy and daddy love you so much Ava! xoxoxo

Ella Justine

You are hilarious! You have a contagious giggle and the cutest dimples! You are such a happy baby! You wake up smiling and fall asleep smiling! You and your sister bring such happiness to everyone around you! You do not seem to be interested in crawling like Ava, but you are a black belt in rolling!! You can get from one end of the room to another in a flash just by rolling!! You love to make noises and you are so good at waving goodbye! You weigh 20 lbs 3 oz and you are 28.25 inches long! You have 2 bottom teeth and you put anything in your mouth that you can fit!!! You prefer "standing" over sitting and you are super ticklish!! Your favorite food is still bananas, but you also love chicken, sweet potatoes, cheerios, green beans, blueberries, peaches, and squash! You love to sit on our laps and be held by mommy and daddy (which we love too!!) You love to rub mommy's arm when you are falling asleep and you love to listen to music. Mommy and Daddy love you so much Ella! xoxoxo

This month we went to the Aquarium for the first time! Granny and PawPaw met us in Wilmington and we had such a fun trip!! We saw fish, went for walks, went swimming, and ate a lot of cheerios!! :)

Aunt Nicole, cousin Ryan, cousin Dylan, and Grandma came to visit us!! We had such a fun time with them!

You have the best cousins!! Ryan and Dylan did so many things with you during this trip! They helped feed you, play with you, sing songs, and even took you swimming!!! Cousin Ryan even stayed up with Ava at 3:00am when she wanted to play!!!

Grandma got big muscles from picking you up and hugging you all weekend! She brought you all sorts of toys and tons of clothes!! Grandma sang you silly songs and played lots of games with you too!
